Forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku, is a Japanese practice that involves immersing oneself in the natural atmosphere of a forest to promote physical and mental well-being. By spending intentional time in nature, forest bathing helps reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and improve mood by calming the nervous system.

The practice encourages mindfulness as participants engage their senses—listening to the rustling leaves, feeling the texture of bark, inhaling the fresh forest air, and observing the vibrant greenery. Research shows that forest bathing boosts the immune system by increasing natural killer cell activity, thanks to phytoncides, the essential oils released by trees. Beyond its physiological benefits, it fosters a deep connection to nature, enhancing feelings of peace, grounding,enhancing also focus and creativity and your overall balance in life.


Starting time: 9 am Can be 3 to 5 hours (depending on how far we drive and how many “baths” we take).

We will travel in your rental car or I can arrange a car upon request.
