Icefield Trio Hike
Wonderful day with Terri as we trekked different parts of the Icefield. She selected hikes that were appropriate forour age (70) and fitness level. She provided information about the area and several terrific restaurant suggestions. Highly recommend her as a guide.

The Four Summits Tour
Despite the gloomy and rainy weather, we truly enjoyed our hike at the iceline trail. Terri is not your run of the mill guide. You can feel that she is connected to the mountain, to its floral and fauna. And she sincerely wants the hikers to experience the mountain beyond just being a physical activity and views, but to “take it all in”. Along the way, Terri would highlight the different plants in the sub alpine conditions.

We have used TBL previously, with pleasure. The huge variable is the tour quide him/herself. Three of our four guides
have done great jobs, with the fourth showing promise as a beginner. Terri was the best of the four. Her local knowledge, her communication skills and her deep caring about her home ground of Jasper were truly amazing.

Our tour with Terri while we were in Jasper was OUTSTANDING! Terri was very interested in our thoughts and took us to some amazing places for scenery, wildlife and hiking. We encountered a momma grizzly and her cubs (in the safety of a vehicle of course) and also saw many elk and a black bear. Highly recommend the hike up Edith Cavell to see the angel glacier! Absolutely breath taking! Terri was very engaging with our group of 4 and we loved all of her knowledge and love for Jasper. Thanks again Terri

Terri was fantastic! In true “local” fashion, she led us on routes that were hardly trodden and special. She knew exactly where the wildlife was and when they were going to be there. She was a pleasure to spend time with and judiciously balanced the individual desires of the party. Well done! She made us want to take more tours by locals in the future.

Terri was terrific. Her knowledge of Canada and in particular Jasper National Park gave my wife and I a wonderful history lesson. The mistake we made was not booking Terri for our three day stay. One day with her wasn’t enough.

Terri was wonderful!! Such a pleasure to meet her and spend the day together. My husband and I, along with our adultssons and their spouses join Terri for a hike to the Saskatchewan Glacier, Boundary Lake and a magnificent waterfall. It was truly a magical day and the highlight of our trip.

It was our first trip to the Rockies. We booked a tourist hike at first with bus and 12 peoples and then we found Toursby Local and amazing Terri�� What a difference!! She showed us amazing places and we were alone! She took time to explain a lot of things…took Time to answer our questions….took time to know a Little bit better our small family.

We spent all day with Terri today and she is amazing! We had a diverse group of six travelers ranging in age from 2 to
70 years old who had different goals for the day. She managed to exceed everyone’s expectations with multiple wildlife sightings, hikes, main tourist stops, history lessons, views off the beaten path, and a multitude of recommendations after our tour ended for us to make the most of our time we have left in the park. She is kind, patient, polite, knowledgeable, punctual, and articulate.
